 Chapter 39 Christmas Dinner

Our Christmas dinner was held at the Ellsworth AFB Air & Space Museum on December 15th. About 40 people attended. Before and after dinner, people were able to wander around the museum to see the many displays.

The dinner was a big success, and many thank yous are in order. First and foremost a 21-gun salute to our speaker Tom Wenn. Tom is a vet who served his country in World War II as a B-17 gunner and mechanic. He shared many of his memories with us, as well as some of his memorabilia. Thank you, Tom, for your presentation, and for your service.

Thanks also to Arie for putting this wonderful evening together for us. From start to finish, everything went off flawlessly. At least Arie made it seem that way. And the beautiful table decorations? They were done by Arie's mom. Thank you, Julie. They certainly made th room look festive.

I think all of us in att4ndace thoroughly enjoyed our evening.
