We continue to work towards the KRAP open house event but honestly I haven’t exactly been inundated with ideas or volunteers. This event will take a lot of work and if there is only a couple of us that are willing to take the time and effort to make it happen I see a rather dim future. I know we are all busy but just step up and ask me, “How Can I Help?” We are going to have regularly scheduled planning meetings for the open house so please keep looking for the dates. I’ll send them out in emails, post them on Facebook or you can give me a call, 605-858-5850.
Bruce Bowen’s fly in breakfast was a great event this past month. We really need more EAA member participation and yes I didn’t make it there unfortunately. Up next is Darrel Sauder’s breakfast and fly in at Sturgis Airport. Fly-in or drive-in but get there and bring a friend or two that wants to learn more about aviation or just enjoy good company!
The next meeting we will discuss the open house and start talking about AirVenture 2017. Bring a friend or two to the burger burn and let’s have some fun! You do remember why you started flying in the first place?? Fun right? Get others interested and participating in general aviation, it’s the only way we are going to survive.
I will see you at the planning and regular meeting!
